The Vintage room radiates that warm fuzzy feeling invoked by reconnecting with old memories. Everything about this room oozes character – from the impeccably restored 16th century limestone arches and slabs, the upcycled bedside tables which started life as humble crates, to the headboard which used to be wooden shutters in times gone by. Even the bathroom walls have a story to tell, with original postcards of divas from the golden age of the silverscreen.

The Vintage room is the second largest suite at Carafa, and can host up to three persons : two on a luscious king-size bed and one on a cosy pullout single bed. It also includes a private ensuite bathroom, a large desk, a retro-themed lounge area with designer furniture pieces and themed library, original vintage props and art, and a wide balcony with charming street views.

The location is perfect. Close to the centre, but also close to the sea. We were in the water 1 hour after arriving!

Carafa is really an extraordinary place and perfectly located! Everything important is in walking distance and Thomas was very helpful and well organized. The bedrooms are spacious and each room has a bathroom en suite.

Location can't be any better. The neighborhood is quite but most important is really authentic. Being accommodated in what it was once a Palazzo, it is worth remembering. Actually we saw Grand Master Carafa's tombstone in St. John Cathedral in Valletta. Clean, nice design, very good wifi, everything new - the description on the website is accurate. Thomas was very helpful and always available. Special thanks, Thomas.

Staying right in the heart of Valletta was great. Plus, 5 mins walk from the house is a swimming area, much used and appreciated by us after a hot day out exploring. Overall, Valletta is an amazing place to say in, and this is a great base to explore the Maltese islands from.

An amazing house as described by others. It was a great neighborhood as well local but yet close to many restaurants, cafes, and, shopping. Also close to the ferry to Sliema and the bus stop in Valletta. All in all a great place from which to explore the island. Also a great local swimming place within 5 minutes walk (with much cleaner water than the closer and more populated swimming areas we visited in Sliema, St Julian, etc). Thomas is also a great contact. Very accommodating and kind.

We were a few couples going on the trip and the house is perfectly suited for that. The location is right in the center of Valletta with easy access to bars, restaurant and walking streets in the middle of the city.

The place was an ideal location as I was attending a conference just up the street at the University of Malta in Valletta. It was right in the middle of all the main things to do in Valletta and had much more character than a hotel. The place is huge, which was good because it was five of us staying there.

We had a great stay in this wonderful apartment. It is beautifully decorated - and very big. The location is perfect too. Thomas was very flexible and the we did not have any problems with the check-in and check-out even though we had booked at very short notice. Highly recommended!

The house is in Old Valetta and is a real delight. It's an area steeped in history and as I discovered around the corner from the bar where Oliver Reed hung out. Highly recommended.
